Filesatu.co.id, Denpasar -Bali | Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dr. Dudung Abdurachman, S.E., M.M., led the 2022 TNI AD Preparedness Ceremony in the context of dealing with contingencies, which was held simultaneously in all Kodams/Kotama throughout Indonesia and centered at the Lintas Monas Field, Central Jakarta.
In the Kodam IX/Udayana area, the ceremony was led directly by Pangdam IX/Udayana General Major TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., which was held at Puputan Margarana Field Niti Mandala Renon, Denpasar City, Bali Province, on Wednesday (26/10/2022).
In his mandate, Kasad conveyed that the implementation of the TNI AD’s main tasks cannot be separated from a complex and dynamic global, regional and national environment, so that this ceremony has a very important and strategic meaning as an indicator to measure the readiness of all TNI AD units in the face of developing situations or contingencies might happen.
“If every unit and all soldiers of the Indonesian Army have steady, convincing and optimal preparedness, it will be a guarantee in maintaining the stability and security of the Indonesian territory in a good and conducive manner,” said Kasad.
Kasad further stated that the TNI AD must be able to carry out its role optimally in helping the success of government programs and helping to overcome community difficulties, whenever and wherever they are and on duty.
“Therefore, I instruct all TNI AD soldiers to never hesitate to take the necessary action, as long as the action is measurable and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and other applicable rules,” asserti Kasad.
Ending his directive, Kasad reminded Indonesia Army Soldiers to understand the main tasks of the Army, guide the Sapta Marga, Soldier Oath, 8 Military Mandatory and adhere to the 7 Kasad Daily Commands, and carry out their duties properly, sincerely and sincerely.
“I am proud to be able to meet face to face and gather with TNI AD soldiers. I express my gratitude and highest appreciation to all soldiers for their performance, contribution, dedication, and hard work so far,” concluded Kasad.
After the ceremony, Kasad took the time to greet all his soldiers who attended the virtual meeting at each Kodam/Kotama. On that occasion, Pangdam IX/Udayana reported to the Kasad that this morning, the Military Command IX/Udayana have deployed 1503 personnel.
“Meanwhile, Kodam IX/Udayana personnel who are ready to carry out operations are 10,350 people. Right now our spirits is high, and we are Kodam IX/Udayana, now ready to carry out security operations within the framework of the G20 Summit presidency, Prajaraksaka!” assertive said Pangdam.
During the press conference with the media, the Regional Military Commander also said that the Regional Military Command IX/Udayana was ready to carry out security for the G20 Summit, various exercises had been held, even on 7 November there will be a TFG exercise at the Pamwil Task Force and Evacuation Task Force level, so that they are better prepared to carry out security tasks and evacuation in the G20 Summit Presidency event.
I urge and invite people, especially those on the island of Bali, let’s together be determined to make this International Event a success, in this case the G20 Summit Presidency, so that it runs successfully, safely and smoothly,” so asked the Pangdam.
