Filesatu.co.id, Mataram – NTB | After carrying out a working visit for 2 (two) days in the Korem 162/Wira Bhakti area, the Regional Commander (Pangdam) IX/Udayana, Major General TNI Harfendi, S.I.P, M.Sc., attended a dinner with Korem 162/Wira Bhakti officials and Forkopimda NTB Province, Wednesday (6/9/2023) at Rootop Hotel Golden Palace, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara.
On this occasion the Military Commander in his remarks said that the arrival of the Pangdam IX/Udayana to the Province of West Nusa Tenggara was in the framework of examining the operational readiness of Infantry Battalion (Yonif) 742/SWY which was prepared to carry out the task of securing the RI-RDTL Border in the Eastern sector.
“West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is the territory of the Udayana Regional Military Command, therefore as Commander of the Regional Military Command, through this working visit, apart from coaching the unit, it is also to get to know more closely the territorial area of the Regional Military Command IX/Udayana as well as to meet and meet face-to-face with members of the Korem 162/Wira Bhakti”, said the Pangdam.
Furthermore, the Military Commander said that the General Election would soon be held, the Military Commander hoped that in the future the TNI-POLRI synergy would continue and be well maintained so that they could provide the best service in securing elections. It is hoped that the synergy of Forkopimda that has been well established so far can provide a sense of security and comfort to the community.
