Filesatu.co.id, Denpasar Bali | A series of events to commemorate the 66th anniversary of Kodam IX/Udayana in 2023 were held. On Thursday (25/5) evening, the Jamasan Pataka Tradition of Kodam IX/Udayana was held at Pura Bukit Dharma Durga Kutri, Gianyar Regency. It was continued on Friday (26/5) morning to carry out the Group Pilgrimage Ceremony at Margarana National Park (TPB), Marga Dauh Puri Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency.
The pilgrimage at TPB Margarana was led by the Pangdam IX/Udayana TNI Maj. Gen. Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., as the leader of the pilgrimage group which began with a tribute to the Heroic Spirits followed by a moment of silence, laying a wreath at the TPB Margarana Monument and ending with the laying of flowers by all ceremony participants at the Tomb of the Heroes.
Pilgrimage activities at the Hero’s Cemetery like this are always carried out by Kodam IX/Udayana towards the peak of the anniversary. This was intended as a form of respect and devotion for the extended family of Kodam IX/Udayana to the Kusuma Bangsa. Apart from that, it is also to pray for and remember the services of the heroes who have died for the independence of the Indonesian nation.
Then, the “Praja Raksaka” Kodam IX/Udayana Penjamasan Pataka Tradition is intended to invoke God Almighty so that all Soldiers of Kodam IX/Udayana are always given strength, safety and clear and holy thoughts so that they are able to carry out the responsibilities assigned by the state.
On this occasion, the Military Commander IX/Udayana delivered his remarks that the Pataka Kodam IX/Udayana was a symbol or symbol of incarnation as a media for concentration, concentration of leadership and aspirations for a unified military agency which oversees the regions of Bali, NTB and NTT. With this symbol or symbol, it is hoped that the spirit of corps and solidity will grow in a strong inner bond so that goals can be achieved.
Ending his remarks, the Pangdam as the leader of the IX/Udayana Military Command expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation for the cooperation, participation and real contribution of all Gianyar people who have participated in attending the Bukit Dharma Durga Kutri Temple.
Furthermore, Mr. Wayan Jembong Arimbawan (local Traditional Village Head) thanked Mr. Military Commander IX/Udayana and the invitation. “This is an honor for the residents of Pura Durga Kutri, Buruan Village, Blahbatuh District. Because it is believed to be the place for the Penjasan Pataka Kodam IX/Udayana which is a tradition in the implementation of the Anniversary of Kodam IX/Udayana,” he said.
