Filesatu.co.id, Denpasar Bali | In commemoration of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Day (Hari Juang TNI AD) 2022, Kodam IX/Udayana held various Social Service activities (Baksos) and Pray together which were held at Level II Army Hospital (RSAD) Kesdam IX/Udayana, P.B. Sudirman Street No. 1, Denpasar City, Bali Province, on Wednesday (14/12/2022).
The Social Service activities began with the implementation of Blood Donations and Mass Circumcision. Pangdam lX/Udayana Maj. Gen. TNl Sonny Aprianto., S.E., M.M., as the leader of Social Service activities also carried out a Blood Donation with PJU Kodam IX/Udayana, then continued by observing Mass Circumcision activities and conducting a Video Conference (Vidcon) led by the Kasad.
After attending the Vidcon which was attended by all Kotama ranks of the TNI AD, Pangdam then headed to Makesdam Field to start pray together event. Starting his remarks, the Pangdam expressed his gratitude for holding pray together, Blood Donation, Mass Circumcision and Compensation for Orphans to commemorate the Hari Juang TNI AD 2022.
“As the Pangdam IX/Udayana and personally I would like to thank and welcome the organizers and participants who participated in this noble activity (Baksos), hopefully with our sincere intentions, the implementation of this activity will receive His blessing and blessing,” said the Pangdam.
Regarding the Hari Juang TNI AD, Pangdam revealed that this commemoration was intended as an expression of gratitude and a form of respect for the Heroes and to recall the history of the Indonesian Army’s struggle. Besides that, it is also a means of self-introspection to evaluate the long journey that has been passed, as well as strengthening the commitment to do better in the future in preserving the traditions of the Indonesian Army.
“The aim is to increase motivation, enthusiasm, fighting spirit, nationalism and patriotism in carrying out the tasks and challenges ahead. This is proof of the TNI AD’s commitment to continue to fight with the people in accordance with the theme of the 77th Indonesian Army’s Day, namely the Army in the Hearts of the People,” said the Pangdam.
The Pangdam further said that the Pray together and Social Service Activities in the form of Blood Donations, Mass Circumcision and Providing Compensation to Orphans were a form of Kodam IX/Udayana’s concern for the community and safeguarding the safety of the nation.
“Apart from that, it is also hoped that the Pray together and Social Service activities will further strengthen tolerance between religious communities, realize the unity of the Indonesian Army and the Community, and strengthen community support in building solidity and togetherness to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of Republic Indonesia,” concluded the Pangdam.
The activity ended with a Pray together which was led alternately by Religious Leaders in the Province of Bali, followed by handing over compensation to orphans in the Province of Bali, as well as handing over certificates of appreciation from the Regional Military Commander to Religious Leaders and handing over certificates of appreciation from Leaders of PMI Bali Province to the Military Commander.
